Welcome

My name is Daniel Gur, I was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am currently studying at Kent State University in Ohio. I will be graduating in May of 2014 with a double Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. My concentration is in Computational Mathematics.

My interests are:

• Mobile and Web Development
• Data Mining
• Cloud Computing
• Numerical Computing

I interned at Google in the summer of 2012. I was one of two interns who designed and built a multi-tiered internal system to enhance geo diagnostics; we used Python, Django and C++.

I started a mobile and web development club at my university with two friends. The club is called hacKSU. The club meets weekly, and we teach the members a variety of topics.
